We do not collect, transmit or store your personal information on any server we control. The app has no backend. Everything you see and do stays on your device, with the single exception of map tile requests described below.
Information you enter — such as a phone number, name, or profile details — and any activity within the app is saved in local storage on your device only. It is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data. There is no way for us to access, recover or restore it.
The sign-in screen does not perform real verification. No SMS message is sent, no phone number is validated against any service, and any six-digit code is accepted. The phone number you enter is not transmitted anywhere and is used only to populate the demo interface.
If you grant location permission, the app uses your device's location to show your position on the store map and to calculate how far each store is from you. This happens entirely on your device. Your coordinates are not sent to us and are not stored beyond the current session.
Granting location permission is optional. If you decline, the store map and store list continue to work — you simply will not see your own position or distances.
The store map displays imagery supplied by OpenStreetMap.
When the map is shown, your device requests map tiles directly from
tile.openstreetmap.org. Those requests necessarily include your device's IP address
and the coordinates of the map area being viewed, which indicates the approximate geographic
area you are looking at.
These requests go to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, not to us, and are governed by their privacy policy. This is the only circumstance in which the app contacts an external service.
This app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this app progresses beyond a demonstration build and begins collecting information, this policy will be updated before that change takes effect.
Questions about this policy can be sent to keanemorse@gmail.com.
